Programs to support young people’s journey into adulthood.

Helping Hands will present different educational and nutritional services to about 100 teen dads, ages are between 14 and 19 years old, in the cities of Pomona, Claremont and Montclair. The census tracking info regarding teen parent’s statistics shows that about 52,000 new deliveries of teen parents took place in the state of California and more than 30% of them (15,000) are in the county of San Bernardino and Los Angeles. Helping Hands will be reaching out to many organizations in the area for aids and to keep the services for this young population.

Be A Hero

Is a non-profit organization that offers five different programs to support young people to overcome barriers and obstacles to graduate from high school, to be college ready, and to be independent citizens. The programs are The Teen Moms Program, The teen Dads Program, The Students at risk Program, The Learning Support Program and The Advocacy Program.
